Cape Cod Boatworks only uses the finest 7 & 8 mil Marine Shrinkwrap on the market when wrapping up and closing for the winter season. We shrinkwrap all our boats using top quality preservation tape to the rub rail on all boats. We will shrinkwrap below the hull on request, but do not recommend it. All frame stands and points of pressure are carpet laid protected and all seems are taped to ensure an enclosed, protected and dry environment through the harsh New England winters. We charge a one time fee for frame builds and encourage our clients to store and keep their frames for years to come. We also offer on site storage for frames at our home location in Hyannis. We only build our frames with stock framing lumber and fasten all joints with screws. We ensure no breakage or failure in our frames during the winter and stand by them 100%. All boats are also enclosed with a Damprid Gallon to help mitigate mold, mildew and moisture throughout the winter season.
